What water filter do Brita pitchers use? How to identify your model and filter

Brita Water Filter Pitchers are some of the most popular filtering pitchers out there due to how easy they are to use and maintain.

However, like other water filtering methods, they need their filters changed every now and then.

For starters, knowing when to replace your Brita’s water filter depends on the model you have and how frequently you use the pitcher. For example, if you own a pitcher with a Brita Standard Filter (white-colored filter), you might need to replace it about every two months.

But how do you know what filter you should on your Brita? Here’s what you need to know:

The Elite Filter on the other hand needs to be replaced every 120 gallons or twice a year for best results, the company said.
